Ogow Health is proud to have participated in the inaugural Somalia Digital Health Summit 2024. Our Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Hamze Maktal, took part in a high-level panel discussion on Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Implementation in Somalia: Opportunities and Challenges, alongside leading experts in the fields of technology and health.

The summit, officially launched today by the Second Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), brought together key stakeholders, including federal cabinet ministers, regional administration officials, members of the Federal Parliament, civil society representatives, and national and international health and technology experts.

As the first digital health summit of its kind in Somalia, this event marks a significant milestone in the country’s healthcare development and underscores the crucial role that technology plays in advancing the healthcare sector and supporting national progress.
