Last week, OGOW Health’s Chief Executive Officer participated in a high-level expert panel at AidEx Nairobi 2025, held under the theme “Future-Proofing Humanitarian and Development Assistance.” The event convened over 600 professionals dedicated to strengthening global systems through innovation, local leadership, and strategic technology use.

As part of the panel discussion, “Addressing the East African Health Crisis – Exploring Technology’s Role in Future-Proofing Against Emerging and Existing Challenges,” our CEO, Khalid Hashi joined distinguished representatives from UNICEF, Dimagi, The Max Foundation, and Acasus to explore how digital platforms are transforming healthcare delivery in the region.

The panel highlighted how technology can play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of care, empowering frontline health workers, and enabling data-driven decision-making. These insights closely align with OGOW Health’s mission to create resilient, inclusive, and connected care systems—particularly in underserved and remote communities.

The event marked an important opportunity to share best practices, foster cross-sector collaboration, and champion solutions that are locally grounded and globally informed.
