OGOW Health was spotlighted at a Grand Challenges Canada event on Parliament Hill, joining innovators and leaders driving scalable solutions that strengthen health systems and promote equity across health, climate resilience, and gender equality.

As part of AidEx Nairobi 2025, Ogow Health CEO Khalid Hashi joined an expert panel alongside representatives from UNICEF, Dimagi, The Max Foundation, and Acasus to discuss the role of technology in strengthening healthcare access across East Africa.

The session, held under the theme “Future-Proofing Humanitarian and Development Assistance,” highlighted how digital innovation is reshaping frontline care delivery, enabling data-driven decisions, and building more resilient, inclusive health systems.

Ogow Health participated in the Humanitarian Innovation Forum organized by Elrha, held from February 11 to 13, 2025, in Nairobi, Kenya. The event brought together innovation experts, humanitarian decision-makers, and funders to collaborate. Over the course of the three-day event, global leaders worked together to address urgent challenges in humanitarian innovation and explore transformative solutions for both current and future needs.

Ogow Health expands toolkits to improve essential nutrition services through digitizing the wasting registry in Puntland and South-Central Somalia. This initiative enhances the monitoring and tracking of nutrition supplies, ensuring timely delivery, reducing stockouts, and improving data management with accurate, accessible records. These advancements are directly improving child nutrition and development, ensuring children reach their full potential.

Ogow Health participated in the inaugural Somalia Digital Health Summit 2024, where our Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Hamze Maktal, joined a panel on EMR Implementation in Somalia. The summit, launched by the Second Deputy Prime Minister, brought together key stakeholders to discuss the role of technology in transforming Somalia’s healthcare system.
